While en route back from Sri Lanka, PM Modi recorded and posted a video of Ram Setu from the sky. He shared this on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), stating:
“On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, I was blessed with the divine sight of Ram Setu from the sky while returning from Sri Lanka. In a divine coincidence, I was also fortunate to witness the Surya Tilak (sun blessing) of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya at the same time. I pray that Lord Ram’s grace continues to shine upon all of us.”

During his stay, PM Modi was honored with the “Mitra Vibhushan” medal, one of Sri Lanka's highest civilian awards. This recognition marks the 22nd international award he has received from a foreign nation. Expressing his gratitude, PM Modi remarked:
“Sri Lanka is not just a neighbor but a traditional friend of India. India will continue to support Sri Lanka in its path to economic recovery and development.”
