Roshibina's Journey to Silver

Roshibina, who also won a silver medal at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games, faced tough competition, losing both rounds by a score of 0-5. Her opponent from China secured the match 2-0, as reported by ESPN.

Despite this, Roshibina had an impressive run in Japan, defeating the 2023 world champion Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy from Vietnam. She reached the finals after a semi-final victory against Indonesia’s Thania Kusumaningtyas with a score of 2-0.

India's Medal Count at the Games

This achievement marks India's 14th medal at the ongoing Asian Games, which includes one gold, six silvers, and seven bronzes.
