Prime Minister Modi's Address on Women's Rights

New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a speech to the nation on Saturday at 8:30 PM. He attributed the failure to pass the Women's Reservation Bill to the opposition parties.

In his address, PM Modi expressed his sorrow over the non-passage of the Women's Reservation Bill, stating, 'I share the pain of women. This amendment, which has been pending for 40 years, was meant to grant them rights starting from the 2029 Lok Sabha elections.'

Targeting the Opposition
PM Modi criticized the opposition, saying, 'Women never forget their humiliation. The opposition's sin of opposing the Women's Reservation Bill will surely bring them consequences.'

He further remarked, 'Every citizen of India is witnessing how the flight of women's power in India has been halted. Their dreams have been ruthlessly crushed.'

In his speech, he added, 'Despite our best efforts, we were unable to succeed. I apologize to the mothers and sisters of the nation for the failure to amend the Nari Shakti Vandan Act.'

'The Opposition Celebrated While Women's Rights Were Denied'
PM Modi stated, 'The selfish politics of parties like Congress, DMK, TMC, and the Samajwadi Party has caused the women of this country to suffer. Yesterday, millions of women across the nation were watching the Parliament closely.'

He concluded by expressing his disappointment, saying, 'It was disheartening to see that when this proposal, aimed at benefiting women, was defeated, parties like Congress, DMK, SP, and TMC were applauding. They were celebrating while denying women's rights.'
