Patanjali and Russia Forge New Health Partnership

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Patanjali Group and the Russian government in Delhi. The agreement was formalized by Swami Ramdev on behalf of Patanjali and Sergey Chekhermin, the head of the India-Russia Business Council and Russian Commerce Minister. This MoU aims to strengthen collaboration in the fields of health, yoga, Ayurveda, spiritual exchange, and skilled labor mobility between the two nations.

Swami Ramdev emphasized that this agreement will focus on expanding Patanjali's health services throughout Russia. It envisions collaborative research aimed at discovering advanced health technologies to prevent aging and detect serious diseases early. The MoU prioritizes promoting yoga, Ayurveda, and natural therapies, which are already gaining popularity among Russian citizens.

A key aspect of this MoU is to share India's rich knowledge of yoga, Ayurveda, and ancient traditions with Russia, thereby strengthening spiritual and cultural ties. This initiative will include cultural exchanges and the introduction of India's Rishi traditions to Russian society, fostering mutual understanding and goodwill. Under the Prime Minister's Skill Development Scheme, Patanjali has successfully trained over 200,000 individuals and will now supply skilled yogis and trained workers to Russia. The MoU also aims to promote leading Indian brands in Russia and bring Russian brands to India, with Patanjali ready to offer its world-class products to Russian consumers.
