Dubey emphasized that the committee has explicitly stated that Zuckerberg should apologize. He warned that if an apology is not forthcoming, the 'Safe Harbor' protections under Section 79 should be revoked. He described the removal of the Prime Minister's video as a serious issue, suggesting it reflects an attempt to destabilize the country. He noted that the content was missing for five hours, from 12:30 AM to 5:00 AM, which he deemed a significant concern.

Recalling a previous controversy, Dubey mentioned that Zuckerberg had made a statement regarding the upcoming 2024 elections in January and later issued an apology, indicating a potential agenda to destabilize the nation. He also accused Meta, YouTube, and X of inadequately addressing issues related to their algorithms and content moderation. Despite India's stringent legal framework, he claimed these platforms have failed to take effective action against content related to child sexual abuse (CSAM) and content affecting women.

Furthermore, Dubey stated that the committee has recommended a review of the 'Safe Harbor Protection' in such cases. He also referenced an FIR filed against Meta India by the Telangana government.
