Police Raid in Panchkula


The Panchkula police executed a late-night raid that led to surprising discoveries inside a local café. Upon entering, officers found 12 girls and 48 boys engaged in illegal gambling activities. A total of 60 individuals were apprehended during this operation, and authorities seized ₹3.69 lakh in cash from the scene.


In addition to the cash, the police confiscated 20 bottles of illegal liquor and 21 vehicles. This operation was a collaborative effort between the Crime Branch and the Anti-Narcotics Cell, which worked together to carry out the raid.


According to officials, the police received a tip-off about the illegal gambling activities occurring late at night. Following this information, a joint operation was launched involving the Crime Branch, Detective Staff, and the Anti-Narcotics Cell. The police not only arrested the 60 individuals but also initiated legal action against the café's manager and owner for their involvement in facilitating gambling and alcohol distribution.
