A session of the Panchayat Samiti Bharmaur convened on Wednesday at the Mini Secretariat's conference hall. The meeting was led by President Pooja Devi, with Dr. Janak Raj, the MLA for the Bharmaur–Pangi Assembly Constituency, attending as a special guest.


During the meeting, participants engaged in comprehensive discussions regarding ongoing development initiatives, public welfare matters, and advancements at the panchayat level. Members voiced concerns and needs from their respective regions, addressing critical issues such as access to drinking water, road conditions, healthcare, education, sanitation, and other essential services. Officials from various departments provided updates on the measures being implemented to tackle the raised concerns.


ADM Bharmaur, Vikas Sharma, urged officials to prioritize the public issues highlighted by the Panchayat Samiti members and to act promptly to enhance facilities for the community. He emphasized the importance of completing development projects within set deadlines and ensuring that schemes effectively benefit eligible recipients.


In closing, President Pooja Devi expressed gratitude to all members and officials for their contributions and insightful suggestions. She underscored the necessity of effective collaboration between departments and panchayat representatives to expedite grassroots development.


The meeting saw participation from Vice President Jai Shankar, members Shilpa Devi, Mamta Sharma, Joshna Devi, Sarika, Usha Devi, Aarti Devi, Pravesh Kumar, Gulshan Kumar, Rakesh Kumar, Manohar Lal, Shub Karan, Ravindra Kumar, Sunita Devi, Zila Parishad member Leela Sharma, Subhash Chand, BDO Bharmaur Sanjay Kumar, along with subject matter experts Jitendra Kumar (Agriculture) and Dr. Manohar Lal (Horticulture), Tehsil Welfare Officer Vikas, and officials from the Electricity, Jal Shakti, and Public Works Departments.
