Pakistan's Response to Iran's Situation

Islamabad: On Saturday, Ishaq Dar, who serves as Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, expressed strong disapproval of the recent 'unjustified attacks' on Iran by Israel and the United States, urging for an immediate end to the hostilities.

This statement came during a phone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, who reached out to Dar following the assaults on Iran.

As per a release from the Foreign Office, the two leaders discussed the escalating situation in Iran and its implications for the broader region.

Dar firmly denounced the attacks on Iran and emphasized the necessity for an urgent diplomatic effort to de-escalate tensions and work towards a peaceful resolution of the ongoing crisis.

In a related development, the Pakistani Embassy in Iran issued a travel advisory, recommending that Pakistani citizens refrain from all non-essential travel to Iran to ensure their safety.
