Pakistan's Defence Minister Warns of Regional Threats Amid Iran-Israel Conflict

In light of the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel, Pakistan's Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has issued a grave warning about the potential ramifications for Pakistan. He claims that the war has been forced upon Iran and suggests that a victory for Israel could lead to a coalition of India, Afghanistan, and Iran against Pakistan. Asif emphasizes the need for national unity among Pakistanis to confront these perceived threats and highlights Pakistan's nuclear capabilities as a deterrent. The situation is further complicated by recent military actions in the region, raising concerns about security and stability.

Concerns Over Iran-Israel Tensions

Khawaja Asif, the Defence Minister of Pakistan, has raised alarms regarding the escalating conflict involving Iran, Israel, and the United States. He asserts that this war has been "imposed" on Iran, despite its openness to dialogue. In a recent post on the social media platform X, Asif accused Zionist forces of orchestrating the conflict to enhance Israel's influence in the region. He warned that a potential Israeli victory could lead to a coalition of India, Afghanistan, and Iran against Pakistan, leaving Islamabad "surrounded by enemies" and at risk of becoming a "vassal state."

Asif further claimed that since the establishment of Israel in 1948, Zionism has played a significant role in conflicts impacting the Islamic world. He suggested that major global powers have been manipulated by Zionist interests, which have influenced the global economy for years. He stated, “Despite Iran's readiness for agreement, a war has been imposed upon them, and its agenda, orchestrated by the Zionists, includes bringing Israel's influence right up to Pakistan's border,” as reported by Geo News.

Potential Alliances Against Pakistan

Asif warned that if Israel were to win the ongoing conflict, it could lead to a unified agenda of hostility towards Pakistan from India, Afghanistan, and Iran. He emphasized that this would jeopardize Pakistan's borders, leaving the nation vulnerable and isolated. He stated, “The joint single point agenda of Afghanistan, Iran, and India will then be enmity towards Pakistan, making our borders insecure, surrounding us with enemies from all sides, and turning Pakistan into a vassal state.”

He urged all 250 million citizens of Pakistan, irrespective of their political or religious beliefs, to recognize this perceived conspiracy and the intentions of their adversaries. Asif also reiterated Pakistan's status as a nuclear power, which he believes serves as a deterrent against Zionist threats, asserting that the strength of Pakistan's armed forces is acknowledged globally.

Recently, the United States and Israel conducted airstrikes in Iran, resulting in the deaths of key leaders, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. In response, Iran retaliated with missile strikes targeting Israel and Gulf nations that host U.S. military bases. The situation has intensified further with Hezbollah's involvement, launching attacks on Israeli positions.
