Discovery of Fishing Gear Near Raigad

On Friday, authorities recovered fishing equipment from a Pakistani vessel off the coast of Raigad, Maharashtra. This information was confirmed by local police.


An official reported that the equipment was located during a search operation near the historic Korla Fort.


The Indian Coast Guard had alerted the police on Sunday night about the sighting of a Pakistani boat close to Korla Fort. It was later determined that the boat originated from Karachi, but its equipment had become detached last year and drifted into Indian waters.
