Pakistan Announces Squads for Upcoming T20I and ODI Series Against Sri Lanka

The Pakistan Cricket Board has unveiled the men's squads for the upcoming T20I series against Sri Lanka and the ODI tri-series featuring England. Sahibzada Farhan will captain the T20I team, while Shaheen Afridi leads the ODI squad. The matches will take place at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, with the first T20I scheduled for October 9. Following the T20I series, Pakistan will engage in an ODI tri-series, with matches hosted in both Rawalpindi and Lahore. Sri Lanka has already announced their squads for the tour, adding to the excitement of the upcoming cricketing events.
 

Pakistan's Cricket Teams for Upcoming Series

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has revealed the men's teams for the forthcoming three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka, as well as the ODI tri-series that includes England and Sri Lanka. Sahibzada Farhan, who recently captained Pakistan at the Asian Games, will lead the T20I squad. Meanwhile, Shaheen Afridi will continue his role as captain for the ODI matches in the tri-series.


Match Schedule and Locations

All T20I matches are set to take place at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, starting with the first match on October 9. The subsequent matches are scheduled for October 11 and October 13.


Following the T20I series, Pakistan will compete in an ODI tri-series against England and Sri Lanka. The initial three matches will also be held in Rawalpindi, after which the tournament will shift to Lahore for the remaining league games and the final.

The Pakistan T20I squad includes: Sahibzada Farhan (captain), Abdul Samad, Abrar Ahmed, Arafat Minhas, Fakhar Zaman, Hasan Nawaz, Khawaja Nafay (wicketkeeper), Maaz Sadaqat, Mohammad Salman Mirza, Muhammad Imran Randhawa, Naseem Shah, Razaullah, Saim Ayub, Shadab Khan, and Sufiyan Moqim.


The Pakistan ODI squad features: Shaheen Shah Afridi (captain), Abrar Ahmed, Arafat Minhas, Babar Azam, Faheem Ashraf, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Hasan Nawaz, Muhammad Ghazi Ghori (wicketkeeper), Naseem Shah, Razaullah, Saad Baig (wicketkeeper), Saim Ayub, Salman Ali Agha, Shadab Khan, and Sufiyan Moqim.
