On Saturday evening, a bus carrying students overturned while returning from a picnic in Jammu, the winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in injuries to more than 35 students, as reported by officials.

The incident occurred near the Ring Road in the Bishnah area, and authorities have indicated that the condition of all injured students is stable.

The bus was transporting 40 students and 10 teachers from a school located in the Pragwal border area.

According to reports, the group was returning from a day-long picnic in Samba when the driver lost control after colliding with a divider, causing the bus to flip over.

Rescue teams promptly responded to the scene and transported the injured students to the hospital.
