Jairam Thakur, the Leader of the Opposition, has intensified his criticism of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu regarding the management of bureaucratic matters, labeling the Chief Minister's responses as 'shameful, childish, and laughable.'

Speaking to the press following the Assembly session, Thakur expressed concern over the Chief Minister's tone and language when addressing inquiries about bureaucratic conflicts. He stated, 'When reporters highlighted serious issues within the bureaucracy, the Chief Minister's replies were utterly inadequate—these are not merely my sentiments, but a widespread perception of the responses.'

Thakur emphasized that during times when decisive leadership is crucial, such inadequate replies do not reflect the seriousness of the situation. 'This isn't merely about disagreements among officials; it’s about the leadership's approach to these issues. The responses provided did not align with the gravity of the circumstances,' he remarked.

He further pointed out that effective governance requires clear guidance and accountability. 'When administrative issues arise, we expect a confident and well-structured response. Unfortunately, that assurance was lacking,' Thakur concluded.

These comments highlight the opposition's increasing scrutiny of governance and administrative collaboration, with the discourse around leadership and accountability in the state becoming more pronounced.
