Ongoing Efforts Following Pahalgam Attack

Officials have confirmed that Operation Sindoor, initiated as a response to the Pahalgam attack, is still in progress. A civil defence mock drill is set to take place in the border states adjacent to Pakistan.

The states involved include Gujarat, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Jammu and Kashmir, which have previously experienced drone and artillery assaults from Pakistan. Fortunately, the Indian air defence system successfully thwarted most of these attacks.

Tragically, on April 22, a terrorist attack claimed the lives of 26 tourists, leaving the nation in shock. In response, India launched 'Operation Sindoor' during the night of May 6 and 7, targeting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan. A nationwide mock drill was subsequently carried out on May 7.
