Shocking Incident in Bihar


In a surprising event in Betia, Bihar, a one-year-old child managed to bite a venomous cobra, resulting in the snake's immediate death. This unusual incident has left many astonished, as even adults often fear the sight of such a dangerous snake.


The occurrence took place in the Mohachhi Bankatwa village of the Majholiya block in West Champaran district. Following the incident, the child lost consciousness and was rushed to the Majholiya Primary Health Center for emergency care. After initial treatment, he was referred to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Betia.


According to reports, the child, Govinda, was playing at home when a two-foot-long cobra slithered into the house. His grandmother, Mataishwari Devi, recounted that the child mistook the snake for a toy and grabbed it, subsequently biting it. The cobra died shortly after, with reports indicating that the child even managed to sever the snake into two pieces.


Dr. Divakant Mishra, the deputy superintendent at GMCH, stated that the child showed no signs of poisoning. He is currently under treatment, and his condition is reported to be stable. The family was understandably alarmed by the incident, while the child's act of killing the snake has sparked widespread astonishment.
