Archery Final Insights
In the archery finals, the Indian pair, who had excelled in the ranking round, faced a tough challenge, ultimately losing 141-150 to the Chinese team in the gold medal match. This marked India's first medal in para-archery at the current Games.
Despite their earlier success, Sheetal and Payal struggled to find their rhythm during the final, as the Chinese archers delivered a dominant performance to secure the gold.
Athletics Achievement
In another remarkable achievement, Indian Paralympic athlete Preeti Pal earned a silver medal in the women's 100 m T35 category at the Asian Para Games on Wednesday. Preeti clocked an impressive time of 13.98 seconds, finishing just 0.41 seconds behind the gold medalist and world record holder, Zhou Xia from China, who also set a new Asian Para Games record.
