Odisha Government Launches Investigation into Alleged PG Exam Paper Leak

Brahmapur (Odisha), August 5 - A three-member committee established by the Odisha government has commenced an inquiry into the alleged leak of the postgraduate (PG) medical examination question paper. Officials confirmed this development on Wednesday.
The committee, which includes Additional Secretary Bijay Kumar Dash, Special Secretary (Medical Services) Bijay Kumar Mishra, and Joint Director of Medical Education and Training Anil Kumar Sahu, visited the MKCG Medical College and Hospital located in Brahmapur.
It is alleged that the question paper was leaked during the examination at this very location. The committee has engaged in discussions with senior professors, including Dean-cum-Principal Hari Krishna Dalai and Superintendent Sudipa Dash, regarding the alleged irregularities. They are investigating the source of the paper's dissemination by interviewing faculty members and reviewing CCTV footage.
The committee, formed on July 31, has been tasked with submitting its report within two weeks. Officials did not disclose details about the discussions held with the medical college authorities.
