Odisha CM Celebrates OMC's 70th Anniversary and Reopens Dubuna Iron Ore Mine

Odisha's Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi celebrated the 70th anniversary of the Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) and inaugurated the reopening of the Dubuna iron ore mine. The event also featured the 'Sindoor Yatra', attended by hundreds of women, and the birth anniversary of Guru Banamali Maharana was observed at the GKCM Odissi Research Centre. Additionally, health arrangements at Puri hospital were reviewed ahead of the upcoming Rath Yatra, ensuring readiness for the festivities.

CM Mohan Charan Majhi attended the 70th anniversary celebration of the Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) in Bhubaneswar, where he also inaugurated the reopening of the Dubuna iron ore mine.


Hundreds of women participated in the 'Sindoor Yatra', which was flagged off by the Chief Minister in Bhubaneswar.


The birth anniversary of Guru Banamali Maharana was commemorated at the GKCM Odissi Research Centre in Bhubaneswar.
