Bhubaneswar: The Governor of Odisha, Haribabu Kambhampati, along with Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, extended their heartfelt congratulations to athletes Animesh Kujur and Srabani Nanda for their remarkable performances at the Asian Athletics Championships held in South Korea.


Animesh Kujur secured a bronze medal in the men's 200m event, while Srabani Nanda's team achieved a silver in the women's 4x100m relay.


In a post on X, the Chief Minister expressed, "I extend my congratulations to the women's team for winning the silver medal in the 4 × 100 meters relay at the #AsianAthleticsChampionships in Gumi, South Korea. Special congratulations to Odia sprinter Srabani Nanda, who was part of the team."
