Nurpur Police Intensifies Efforts Against Narcotics with Recent Arrest
Ongoing Crackdown on Drug Trafficking

In a continued effort to combat drug-related crimes, the Nurpur Police have intensified their operations against narcotics as part of a special campaign. Recently, authorities apprehended an additional suspect linked to FIR No. 41/26, which was filed on April 13, 2026, at the Rehan Police Station under various sections of the NDPS Act.
Information on the Arrested Individual:
- Name: Shukrdeen, son of Shri Baghu
- Location: Village Talesha, Post Office Jadera, Tehsil & District Chamba, Himachal Pradesh
- Age: 35 years
Previously, law enforcement had detained two individuals, Robin and Yusuf, also from District Chamba, after seizing 1.210 kilograms of charas. The investigation has progressed through the use of technical analysis, human intelligence, and comprehensive inquiries, which ultimately led to the identification and arrest of the third suspect.
The Nurpur Police have reiterated their dedication to eradicating the narcotics network. The investigation is being conducted with a high level of seriousness to ensure that all parties involved in this illicit trade are identified and prosecuted. Officials have emphasized that anyone involved in drug trafficking will face stringent legal consequences.
