Ongoing Operations Against Illegal Mining

The police in Nurpur have ramped up their efforts to combat illegal mining, successfully executing another operation on Sunday. Under the provisions of the Mining Act, law enforcement seized two tippers, a canter, and a tractor during raids conducted at Police Post Kandwal (Nurpur Police Station) and Police Post Re (Fatehpur Police Station).


The vehicles confiscated have been charged under the Mining Act, and cases against the suspects have been submitted to the Hon’ble Court for further legal action.


Authorities have indicated that the district police will persist in their vigilant monitoring and continue their campaign against the illegal mining syndicate to prevent such activities in the future.
