In an ongoing effort to combat drug trafficking, the Nurpur Police have detained a suspect found in possession of illegal narcotics.


Incident Overview: While conducting routine patrols, the CIA Nurpur team stopped a suspicious individual near the Kandwal Police Post. Upon a lawful search, they discovered 6.63 grams of heroin (commonly referred to as chitta) in his possession.

  • Address: Village Gent, Dr. Ramnagar Dini, Tehsil Indora, District Kangra (H.P.)


Legal Proceedings: The authorities have filed a case against the suspect under the relevant sections of the NDPS Act. He is currently in custody, and the motorcycle involved in the incident, a Yamaha FZ (Registration No. HP 38 E 1151), has been confiscated.
