Passengers awaiting flights at Noida International Airport have received some great news. The airline Indigo has commenced ticket bookings for this airport starting Thursday evening. Commercial flight operations are set to begin on June 15. Indigo's system now reflects the airport's IATA code, DXN, indicating that preparations for flights are underway. Reports suggest that the inaugural commercial flight may arrive from Lucknow Airport, with Indigo's first flight expected to take off from Lucknow and land at Noida Airport on June 15.

Indigo has officially started selling tickets for Noida International Airport, also known as Jewar Airport. This significant step comes just weeks before the airport's commercial operations are set to launch. Previous reports had indicated that flight services could begin on June 15. The DXN code, assigned to Noida International Airport, is now visible on Indigo's booking website and system.

First Flight Likely from Lucknow

According to available information, the first flight associated with Noida Airport is expected to operate between Lucknow and Noida. The arrival of this inaugural flight at Noida Airport is anticipated on June 15. Once ticket bookings are fully operational, Indigo is expected to release the complete flight schedule.

Multiple Flights to Start from June 15

On June 15, 2026, Indigo will launch special flights on the Lucknow-Noida-Bengaluru route, designated as flight numbers 6E 2278 and 6E 2279. Following this, regular flight services will commence. Daily flights from Hyderabad to Noida and Noida to Amritsar will begin on June 15. Additionally, flights to Bengaluru and Jammu will start on June 16. From July 1, 2026, Indigo plans to connect several new cities to Noida Airport, including Navi Mumbai, Srinagar, Jodhpur, Dharamshala, Bhopal, Dehradun, Lucknow, Jaipur, Pantnagar, and Chandigarh. Flights to Bareilly and Kishangarh will also be operational shortly.

The fare for the flight number 6E 2279 from Noida to Lucknow on June 15 is set at ₹10,861. Conversely, the fare for flight 6E 2278 from Lucknow to Noida on the same day is ₹11,267. Prices for other flights may vary based on the city and route.
