He took the oath in the chamber of Rajya Sabha Chairman C.P. Radhakrishnan. With Kumar's induction into the Rajya Sabha, his long tenure as Chief Minister in Bihar has come to an end. Speaking to reporters at the airport, Kumar stated, 'I am here to take the oath.' With his ascension to the Rajya Sabha, his governance in Bihar will conclude, and the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is expected to elect a new Chief Minister on April 14.
