Nitin Nabin Criticizes Rahul Gandhi as a Part-Time Politician During Bihar Visit
Nitin Nabin's Strong Remarks on Rahul Gandhi
On Tuesday, Nitin Nabin, the National Executive President of the BJP, labeled Congress leader Rahul Gandhi as a part-time politician, claiming he only visits states during elections. This statement came during Nabin's inaugural visit to Bihar after assuming his new role. He remarked that leaders like Rahul Gandhi come to Bihar only for elections and leave for foreign trips once they conclude. Nabin emphasized that there are no shortcuts in politics, highlighting the need for patience and dedication to achieve long-term success. He assured that the party would meet the expectations of the public and work towards Bihar's development.
Road Show in Patna
Following his appointment on December 15 in New Delhi, Nitin Nabin led a road show in Patna on Tuesday. He accused Rahul Gandhi of disrespecting India during a recent trip to Germany. According to a party official, the road show commenced from Aranya Bhawan near Patna Airport and concluded at the Miller High School grounds close to the state BJP headquarters on Bir Chand Patel Marg. Nabin stood on a flower-adorned vehicle featuring the BJP's lotus symbol, accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, Vijay Kumar Sinha, and Bihar BJP President Sanjay Sarawagi.
Acknowledging Party Support
Nabin expressed gratitude to the party's top leadership, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, National President JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, for their trust in Bihar and in him. He paid tribute to every party worker for their contributions, stating that their efforts led to a significant victory in Bihar, which is now progressing under the charismatic leadership of PM Modi and Nitish Kumar. He noted that the BJP's success in recent elections across various states, including Maharashtra, Arunachal, and Goa, is a testament to this victory, predicting that the party's influence will extend from Bengal to Kerala.
A Call for Commitment
Nabin took a moment to remember his late father, who instilled in him the values of politics and community engagement. He reiterated that there is no place for shortcuts in politics, emphasizing that it is a long-term endeavor. He encouraged party workers to have faith in their work, assuring them that the BJP would elevate them from grassroots to central leadership. He stressed the importance of hard work to meet the public's expectations, stating that the mandate received from Bihar increases their responsibility. Nabin called for immediate preparations for the upcoming Panchayat elections, aiming to transform Bihar into a developed state.
Criticism of Rahul Gandhi's Actions
He criticized Rahul Gandhi for allegedly insulting the country while abroad, stating that such behavior should not be tolerated. Nabin accused Gandhi of disparaging the Constitution and the Election Commission while in India, and of disrespecting the nation during his travels. He concluded by asserting that it is time for the people of Bihar to hold such individuals accountable.
