She began her U16 career at the age of nine and quickly progressed to Karnataka's U19 team within two years. Turning professional at 13, Niki has continued to shine, recently leading India to victory in the U19 Asia Cup and the World Cup in Malaysia last year.

Niki also plays for the Delhi Capitals in the Women's Premier League, where she has gained invaluable experience over the past two seasons. In her 18 matches with the franchise, she has scored 153 runs, averaging 30.60, with a top score of 47.
