NIA Arrests Key Suspect in Manipur Murder Case Involving Women and Children

Significant Arrest in Manipur Murder Investigation

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has apprehended another key suspect linked to the brutal murder of three women and three children in Manipur's Jiribam last year. This information was disclosed by officials on Friday.


The suspects, identified as Lalrosang Hamar, also known as Rosang from Moinathol village, and Dilkhosh Grant from Cachar, Assam, were taken into custody on Thursday in Aizawl, Mizoram.


According to a statement released by the investigation agency, this arrest followed the capture of another suspect, Thanglinal Hamar, by a joint team of NIA and Assam police in Aizawl.


The statement further detailed that on November 11 of the previous year, militants had kidnapped and brutally murdered three women and three children in the Borebekra area of Jiribam district, Manipur.
