A Shocking Turn of Events
The bond between husband and wife is often regarded as sacred. However, a recent incident in Gorakhpur has left many astonished. A newlywed bride, who was welcomed with joy, turned out to be cunning and heartless. Just days after the wedding, the bride's true intentions were revealed, shocking her family.
In a surprising turn of events, a bride from the Turkmanpur locality of Gorakhpur vanished within a month of her marriage, taking with her cash and jewelry valued at approximately 1.5 million rupees. The entire incident was captured on the family's CCTV cameras. Upon discovering her disappearance, the family immediately contacted the police for assistance and filed a complaint at the Rajghat police station.
Reports indicate that Manish Kushwaha, a resident of Turkmanpur Patwari Tola, married a woman from the Jafra Bazaar area on April 27, 2021. Following COVID-19 protocols, Manish arrived at the marriage venue with a celebratory procession. The wedding rituals were conducted according to Hindu customs, including the exchange of garlands and the sacred seven vows. A feast was held at Manish's home on April 29, after which the bride returned to her parental home for a brief visit. Just four days prior to her disappearance, she had returned to her in-laws' house.
On the night of May 27, after midnight, the bride stealthily left with her friend and another young man, taking valuables and cash. Manish Kushwaha recounted that everyone was asleep when he woke up to find his wife missing. They promptly called emergency services, and upon reviewing the CCTV footage, the entire incident was unveiled. Manish reported that the bride had stolen cash, jewelry, clothing, and other items, totaling around 1.5 million rupees. The Rajghat police are currently investigating the case. This incident raises questions about trust and morality in society, highlighting the unfortunate reality that some individuals harbor ill intentions.
