A Shocking Turn of Events
The bond between a husband and wife is often regarded as sacred. When two hearts unite, they make numerous promises to each other. However, a recent incident in Gorakhpur district has taken a surprising turn. It was unexpected that the new bride, who was welcomed with joy, would turn out to be cunning and heartless. Just days after the wedding, the truth emerged, leaving everyone in shock.
In a startling incident from Turkmanpur locality in Gorakhpur, a bride vanished within a month of her wedding, taking with her cash and jewelry valued at approximately 1.5 million rupees. The entire event was captured on the CCTV installed in the house. Upon learning of the incident, the family immediately contacted the police by dialing 112, and they have since filed a complaint at the Rajghat police station.
According to reports, Manish Kushwaha from Turkmanpur Patwari Tola got married on April 27, 2021, to a girl from Jafra Bazaar in Tiwari Pur. Following COVID-19 protocols, Manish arrived at the marriage house with a celebratory procession. The wedding rituals were conducted according to Hindu customs, including the door worship, garland exchange, and the couple taking seven vows. A feast was held at Manish's home on April 29, after which the bride returned to her parental home for her first farewell. She had just returned to her in-laws' house four days prior to the incident.
On the night of May 27, around midnight, the bride stealthily left with her friend and another young man, taking cash and jewelry. Manish Kushwaha, the husband, recounted that everyone was asleep at the time. When he woke up in the morning, he found his wife missing. They promptly informed the authorities by calling 112, and police arrived to review the CCTV footage, which revealed the entire incident. Manish reported that his wife had stolen cash, jewelry, clothes, and other belongings, totaling around 1.5 million rupees. The Rajghat police are currently investigating the matter. This incident not only involved theft of valuables but also a betrayal of trust, raising concerns about the moral fabric of society.
