Completion of Administrative Building and Control Room

The Uttar Pradesh government announced on Wednesday that the construction of an ultra-modern administrative building and a high-tech control room has been completed on a 12,000 square feet area near the Ram Temple complex in Ayodhya. This development aims to enhance the security measures surrounding the temple. According to an official press release, the facility is managed by the police department and is located just outside the Ram Janmabhoomi pilgrimage site.


Project Details and Costs

Initiated by the Home Department, this project was completed at a cost of ₹11.28 crores, with construction and design services provided by a specialized firm. Work on the project commenced in December 2023. The building features a basement that houses the main control room, equipped with advanced technology to facilitate real-time monitoring of CCTV footage in and around the Ram Temple area, crowd management, traffic control, and emergency response services.


Significance of the Control Room

According to an official statement, this administrative building and control room, built on 12,000 square feet of land, is strategically located just outside the Ram Janmabhoomi site. The project, costing ₹11.28 crores, was initiated by the Home Department.


Main Control Room Features

The project, which began in December 2023, was completed through construction and design services. The basement of the structure will house the main control room, which will be equipped with modern technology for continuous monitoring of CCTV footage, crowd management, traffic control, and emergency response services in the vicinity of the Ram Temple.


Building Ready for Inauguration

Officials have indicated that the control room will play a crucial role in ensuring 24-hour surveillance and improving coordination among security agencies. Devvrat Pawar, the project manager from the construction and design services, stated that nearly 98% of the work has been completed, with the boundary wall still under construction. He confirmed that the building is ready for inauguration. Authorities noted that this project will be fully operated by the police department, enabling stringent monitoring of all activities around the Ram Janmabhoomi complex.
