New Bride Steals Jewelry and Cash Worth 15 Lakhs in Gorakhpur
A Shocking Turn of Events in Gorakhpur
The bond between husband and wife is often regarded as sacred. However, a recent incident in Gorakhpur has taken a surprising turn. A newlywed bride, who was welcomed with joy, turned out to be cunning and heartless. Just days after the wedding, the family's happiness was shattered by her actions.
In a shocking revelation, a bride from Turkmanpur Mohalla in Gorakhpur eloped with jewelry and cash valued at 15 lakhs within a month of her marriage. The entire incident was captured on the family's CCTV cameras. Upon discovering her disappearance, the family immediately contacted the police by dialing 112.
Reports indicate that Manish Kushwaha, a resident of the Rajghat police station area, married a girl from Jafra Bazaar on April 27, 2021. Following COVID-19 protocols, Manish arrived at the marriage venue with a grand procession. The wedding rituals were conducted according to Hindu customs, including the 'saat phere' (seven rounds) on the wedding day. A feast was held at Manish's home on April 29, after which the bride returned to her parental home for a brief visit.
Just four days after her return, on the night of May 27, the bride stealthily left with her friend and another young man, taking cash and jewelry. Manish recounted that everyone was asleep when he woke up to find his wife missing. They promptly reported the incident to the police, who arrived and reviewed the CCTV footage, revealing the entire sequence of events. Manish stated that the bride took away valuables, clothing, and other items, totaling around 15 lakhs. The Rajghat police are currently investigating the case, highlighting that the bride not only stole material possessions but also trust from her husband. This incident raises questions about the integrity of individuals in society.
