NEET-UG 2026 Re-Exam: Key Details and City Allotment Released!
Important Update on NEET-UG 2026 Re-Examination
New Delhi: On Sunday, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the release of the exam city intimation slip for the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination, which is set for June 21.
Candidates can now access their designated examination city by logging in with their application number and password, as stated by the NTA on social media.
As per the official notice from the agency, the re-exam will be conducted in a pen-and-paper format from 2 PM to 5:15 PM across 551 cities in India and 14 international locations.
The NTA emphasized that the exam city intimation slip is not the admit card; it merely informs candidates of the city where their exam center is located.
This document is NOT the Admit Card. It only indicates your exam city. The actual Admit Card will be issued at a later date, the agency clarified.
The NTA has made every effort to allocate the first-choice city to all candidates.
Candidates are encouraged to stay informed through the official NTA websites for the latest updates regarding the examination and the release of the admit card.
The NEET-UG, which is crucial for medical course admissions, was initially held on May 3 but was canceled on May 12 due to allegations of a paper leak. The CBI is currently investigating the situation, and a retest is scheduled for June 21.
