NEET UG 2026: Important Update on Fee Refund Process and Deadline
Key Update from NTA on NEET UG 2026 Refunds
New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a crucial update regarding the NEET UG 2026 fee refund process. As of now, only 8,29,510 candidates have successfully updated or confirmed their bank account information on the official portal.
The NTA has warned that candidates who do not complete this process by the specified deadline risk losing their refunds.
The cutoff date for confirming or updating bank account details for the NEET UG 2026 refund is set for July 7, 2026, at 11:50 p.m.
Refunds have already commenced for those candidates who have confirmed their banking details. If updates are necessary, candidates can do so until the deadline on the official NTA portal.
Candidates who have yet to verify or submit their banking information are encouraged to log into the official NEET portal and finalize the process as soon as possible.
The NTA has confirmed that refunds are already being processed for candidates who have successfully submitted their bank account details.
Those who complete their updates before the deadline will be included in the next round of refund distributions.
To proceed, candidates should visit the official NEET UG website at neet.nta.nic.in and click on the link labeled 'Final Opportunity to Confirm/Update Bank Account Details for NEET (UG) 2026 Fee Refund (Exam held on May 3, 2026).'
After logging in with their credentials, candidates can view their dashboard, check the bank account details they have provided, make necessary corrections, and submit the updated information.
The NTA advises candidates to download and keep the confirmation page after successful submission for future reference.
The agency has clarified that once candidates have completed all necessary steps and submitted their bank account details, this information will be considered final.
Furthermore, the NTA has stated that no requests for changes to bank details will be accepted after the deadline.
Candidates are therefore urged to double-check their bank account number, IFSC code, account holder's name, and all other pertinent information before final submission.
