National Conference on Advanced Materials and Simulation Techniques Concludes at Bahra University

A two-day national conference titled 'Advanced Materials and Simulation Techniques' wrapped up at Bahra University in Shimla Hills on Thursday. This event brought together academicians, researchers, faculty, and students from various prestigious institutions across India.
Held on September 10 and 11, the conference served as a vital platform for academic dialogue and exploration of the latest advancements in advanced materials, simulation methodologies, and their practical applications in research and technology.
Participants hailed from numerous institutions, including Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Chandigarh University, IIT Bombay, Amity University, Shoolini University, Kurukshetra University, DIT University Dehradun, Kirori Mal College, Delhi, Rayat Bahra Professional University, Lovely Professional University, and NITTTR Chandigarh.
The event was inaugurated by Professor Mahavir, Vice-Chancellor of Himachal Pradesh University, who emphasized the critical role of research and innovation in tackling modern challenges. He urged young researchers to engage in impactful research and find ways to apply scientific knowledge to real-world issues.
Professor Sandeep Kumar Agarwal from Kurukshetra University delivered the keynote address, discussing the changing landscape of advanced materials and simulation research. He underscored the significance of computational and simulation techniques in deciphering complex scientific challenges and crafting innovative solutions.
The technical sessions featured presentations and discussions led by experts, faculty, and research scholars. Notable contributors included Dr. Sandeep Chauhan and Dr. Ramesh Thakur from Himachal Pradesh University, with Manisha Kohli chairing one of the sessions. These interactions allowed researchers and students to showcase their work and engage with experts from various institutions.
The conference concluded with a valedictory session, where retired Professor Ghanshyam Chauhan served as the chief guest. He praised the organizers and participants for successfully uniting researchers and academic institutions, highlighting the importance of such gatherings in fostering scientific curiosity, collaboration, and a research-focused mindset among emerging scholars.
Chancellor of Bahra University, Sardar Gurvinder Singh Bahra, commended the participants, researchers, and organizing team for the conference's success.
