Mysterious Heavy Box Discovered During Excavation in Andhra Pradesh
Discovery of the Heavy Box
In the village of Karivamula, located in Andhra Pradesh's Kurnool district, workers unearthed a massive box while excavating an old building. The discovery brought immense joy to the local residents, who began speculating about its contents. Weighing approximately 400 kilograms, the news of the box quickly spread, attracting a crowd of curious onlookers.
Opening the Box
To investigate the mysterious box, a team from the revenue department and local police arrived at the scene. They used a gas cutter to unlock the box. However, once opened, the crowd was left disappointed as the box contained nothing but scrap materials, including paper, sand, iron, and steel pieces. Gradually, the onlookers dispersed after realizing the box held no treasures.
How the Box Was Found
Narasimhulu, a local resident, had purchased an old house previously owned by Krishna Reddy. While beginning renovations to build a new home, workers discovered the ancient box buried in the foundation. Due to its significant weight, they had to use a tractor to extract it. By this time, news had spread throughout the village, leading to a gathering of people outside the house.
Authorities Respond
Upon receiving the information, police and revenue officials arrived at the site to secure the area. Under tight security, the box was opened, revealing old documents and sand inside. The discovery of these items left Narasimhulu feeling disheartened, as the officials indicated that all documents found were deemed illegal.
