In a disturbing event in a village located in Muzaffarnagar district, a man was reportedly shot dead following a dispute between two groups. This information was confirmed by a police official on Monday.

According to police reports, the incident occurred on Sunday night in Bhumma village, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Mirapur police station. During the altercation, a man identified as Mahkar Singh, aged 60, was fatally shot.

Aditya Bansal, the Superintendent of Police (Rural), stated that a case has been registered and three individuals have been apprehended in connection with the murder. He further mentioned that a police team has been formed to capture the remaining suspects, and the deceased has been sent for an autopsy. To ensure safety, security measures have been heightened in the village, with additional police forces deployed as a precaution.
