Stasya Pandya's Qualification Journey

Stasya Pandya, a young equestrian from Mumbai, has successfully qualified for the Junior National Equestrian Championship (JNEC) 2026 in the Showjumping Children I category. Riding her horse, Cougar Des Fees, she achieved this milestone by meeting the national qualifying standards without incurring any penalties during the National Qualifiers held at the Amateur Riders Club (ARC) in Mumbai on October 8 and 9, as stated in a press release from JNEC.

Path to Qualification

To qualify for the championship, riders must fulfill the Minimum Eligibility Requirement (MER), which entails clearing a 12-jump course twice. Stasya first met this requirement at the national qualifiers in Coimbatore in August 2026, followed by her second qualifying round at ARC in October.

This achievement marks a significant milestone in Stasya's equestrian career, showcasing her dedication to the sport, her partnership with Cougar Des Fees, and the consistency needed to compete at a national level.
