Mumbai, May 20: A troubling case has emerged in Mumbai's Agripada area, where a 40-year-old man has been accused of molesting a 13-year-old boy. Authorities have confirmed that a manhunt is currently underway for the suspect, who has gone into hiding.

Officials have identified the suspect as Adil Ishaq Latif, a local resident of Agripada, who has been evading capture since the incident was reported. Allegations state that Latif exposed the victim to pornographic material and physically assaulted him.
Reports indicate that the accused threatened the boy with severe repercussions if he resisted his advances.
The incident reportedly occurred within the Clock Tower residential complex in Agripada, where the accused was familiar with the victim's family.
According to the complaint, Latif exploited moments when other family members were absent to carry out his actions.
Victim's Courage and Police Action
After gathering the courage to disclose his experience, the victim informed his family, who subsequently filed a formal complaint at the Agripada Police Station.
In response, the police have registered a case under Section 351(2) of the BNS (Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita) and the POCSO Act, initiating a search for the accused.
Latif has remained at large since the case was filed, prompting the Agripada Police to treat the situation with urgency and conduct a comprehensive investigation.
