In a significant event for Mumbai's cricket history, the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has honored renowned cricketers Ravi Shastri, Dilip Sardesai, Eknath Solkar, and Diana Edulji by inscribing their names at the famous Wankhede Stadium, acknowledging their immense contributions to both Mumbai and Indian cricket.

The unveiling ceremony was graced by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who named a stand after Ravi Shastri and dedicated stadium gates to Dilip Sardesai, Eknath Solkar, and Diana Edulji, as per an official announcement.
Notable attendees included Cabinet Minister Ashish Shelar, MCA President Ajinkya Naik, cricket legends Sunil Gavaskar and Dilip Vengsarkar, along with MCA Apex Council members and other cricketing personalities. The MCA also recognized Suryakumar Yadav, the captain of the T20 World Cup-winning team.
