Guwahati, July 5: In a moment of pride for both Assam and India, Mrigashree Baruah was honored with an invitation as a special guest at the National Arts Festival in Makhanda, South Africa, which took place from June 25 to July 5, as per a press release.

Baruah stood out as the sole Indian woman representing the country at this prestigious global event celebrating literature and the performing arts.
