New Delhi: On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in a conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, emphasizing the urgent need for dialogue and diplomacy to ease the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel.


This discussion took place shortly after the United States conducted airstrikes on three nuclear facilities in Iran, which has heightened tensions in the region.


In a post on social media, Modi conveyed his 'deep concern' regarding the recent developments.


He stated, 'I spoke with President of Iran @drpezeshkian. We thoroughly discussed the current situation and I expressed my deep concern over the recent escalations.'
