Stalin's Strong Stance Against Opponents

As the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections in 2026 approach, Chief Minister and DMK leader M.K. Stalin has released a powerful video message, launching a fierce attack on his opponents. He expressed that if he is perceived as more 'dangerous' than his father, M. Karunanidhi, in safeguarding the state's interests, he considers it an honor. Stalin remarked , "During the 2021 assembly elections, some claimed that I was more dangerous than Karunanidhi. I can never be compared to him. Instead of calling him my father, I have always regarded him as my leader. When they say I am more dangerous than such a leader, I can only think of one thing: I will always be a threat to those who betray Tamil Nadu and hinder our progress."

Stalin's Pride in Leadership

He continued, "If I am considered a step ahead of my leader, I take pride in that, as this sentiment runs in the blood of Tamils. While discussing the proposed amendment to the Women's Reservation Bill, which was rejected in the Lok Sabha last week, Stalin stated that he was the first to protest against the central government's move by burning copies of the bill.

Opposition to the Delimitation Bill

He added, "The delimitation bill introduced by the BJP-led central government last week felt like an attempt to punish us, a state that has controlled population growth and is among the best performers in industrial development. I was the first to oppose this bill and lead protests, which included burning copies of it." He concluded, "The fire we ignited has turned that bill to ashes."
