The elections, set for April 23, will see a significant contest between the DMK-led Secular Progressive Alliance and the AIADMK-led National Democratic Alliance. With actor Vijay also entering the fray, the competition could become even more intense. Stalin's remarks highlight the political landscape and the challenges ahead as the election date approaches.

Stalin's Optimism for Election Success

The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, MK Stalin, expressed strong confidence in the ruling coalition's success in the upcoming assembly elections, citing significant public support during the campaign. The DMK-led alliance had initially projected victories in over 200 seats. However, Stalin, contesting from the Kolathur constituency, noted that given the current level of public backing and large crowds, winning all 234 seats now seems achievable.

He emphasized that no opposition party could defeat them and that the coalition is not worried about its competitors.

Public Support Indicates Potential Victory

Stalin remarked that the existing level of public support and participation signals a possible win across all 234 constituencies. He asserted that their secular progressive alliance would triumph in Tamil Nadu, regardless of how many parties unite against them. In response to questions about his repeated statements regarding Tamil Nadu versus Delhi, he accused the AIADMK of being subservient to Delhi.

The DMK leader criticized the AIADMK for compromising Tamil Nadu's interests, stating that the battle is between Tamil Nadu and Delhi. He expressed concern and disappointment that a Dravidian party has reached such a state.

Concerns Over Youth Behavior

Addressing incidents involving youth allegedly engaging in reckless behavior while following film stars like Vijay, Stalin noted that such occurrences are being witnessed across the state. He stated that the public is aware of these issues and will respond accordingly.
