Overview of Minister's Visit

Subhash Mahajan reports that Jagat Singh Negi, the Minister for Revenue, Horticulture, Tribal Development, and Public Grievances, is set to embark on a two-day visit to Chamba district beginning September 25.

As per the official itinerary, the Minister is scheduled to arrive in Chamba at 11:00 AM on September 25, where he will lead a meeting focused on the Forest Rights Act of 2006. Later that day, at 5:30 PM, he will travel to Holi to inaugurate the Eklavya Model Residential School and lay the foundation stone for its construction. He will spend the night in Holi.

On September 26, the Minister will conduct a Project Advisory Committee meeting and a review of the Forest Rights Act at Bharmaur, starting at 11:00 AM. He will remain in Bharmaur overnight.

The following day, September 27, Jagat Singh Negi will leave Bharmaur at 9:00 AM, heading towards Dharamshala.
