The chief guest, District and Sessions Judge Mr. Vikas Khandelwal, addressed the attendees, highlighting the importance of yoga and maintaining a balance between physical, mental, and emotional health. He also guided participants through a 20-minute meditation session.

During the event, Khandelwal stressed that both mental and physical health are crucial for a healthy life. He encouraged adopting positive habits in daily life and prioritizing holistic health.

On this occasion, a short film titled 'Bhram Jaal', based on a true story of patients and created under the guidance of CEO Rajshree Gautam, was screened. The film effectively illustrated issues related to mental health, misconceptions, and the importance of seeking timely assistance. Its aim was to sensitize the public towards mental illnesses and reduce the social stigma associated with mental health.

Dr. Shiv Gautam shared insights about the various activities conducted from October 6 to 10, 2026, as part of Mental Health Week. He mentioned that 16 different events, including street plays, speech competitions, radio discussions, mental health talk shows in colleges, and special awareness lectures for students, aimed to raise awareness about mental health among the general public and youth.

The primary goal of these activities was to dispel myths and misconceptions surrounding mental health, increase awareness about stress management, understand emotional issues, and encourage individuals to seek help from professionals when needed. Gautam Hospital and Research Center's initiative is a significant step towards making mental health a public awareness topic and fostering sensitivity, understanding, and cooperation within society.
