In a recent statement, Mehbooba Mufti expressed her unwavering support for Iran, claiming that the nation will prevail in the ongoing conflict. Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump declared it a 'bad day' for Iran, asserting that American forces have successfully targeted key Iranian military sites. In response, Iran has firmly rejected any notion of surrender, with its parliament speaker accusing the U.S. of plotting attacks under diplomatic pretenses. This escalating situation highlights the tensions between the nations involved.

Mehbooba Mufti's Strong Support for Iran

The leader of the People's Democratic Party, Mehbooba Mufti, has made a significant statement in favor of Iran. Speaking to reporters on Monday, the former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir asserted that Iran would emerge victorious in the ongoing conflict. She emphasized that Iranian forces are steadfastly defending their territory, while their opponents are retreating.

Mufti stated, 'Iran is fighting for martyrdom. In contrast, the soldiers of the United States and Israel are fleeing, while Iranian troops remain resolute. The victory will belong to Iran.'

Trump's Bold Claims

On the other hand, U.S. President Donald Trump referred to the situation as a 'bad day' for Iran. He claimed that the U.S. military has successfully destroyed key Iranian targets that they had been seeking for a long time. In a post on 'Truth Social', he mentioned that Iran's air force and navy have been rendered ineffective, with most of their missiles now depleted.

Indications of Control Over Kharg Island

Trump also hinted at the possibility of seizing Kharg Island, Iran's most crucial oil export hub. In an interview, he stated that they have several options available and could easily take control of the island.

He emphasized its strategic importance, saying, 'We might take control of Kharg Island, or we might not. I don't believe they have any way to defend it. We can easily seize it.'

Iran's Firm Response

In response to America's claims, Iran has firmly rejected any notion of capitulation. Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, the Speaker of Iran's Parliament, accused the U.S. and Israel of plotting ground attacks under the guise of diplomacy. He warned that the U.S. aims to achieve what it could not accomplish in war. He made it clear that Iran's military is fully prepared and will not tolerate any pressure or humiliation.
