Meet the Couple Expecting Their 13th Child in New Mexico
A Unique Family Planning Approach
You may have heard the saying, 'We two, our two,' but today we introduce you to a couple who believes in 'We two and our 13.' A woman from New Mexico, USA, is preparing to welcome her 13th child. At 33 years old, she already has 12 children and is set to give birth to her next baby in March of the following year.
Planning for One Child Each Year
Britney Church, the mother, will have her next child just 12 years younger than her eldest. She and her husband, Chris Rogers, have made it a tradition to plan for one child each year. Raising such a large family is no small feat, especially considering their monthly expenses, which include a staggering ₹16,000 just for milk.
Britney is a homemaker, while Chris serves as a pastor. They have named all their children starting with the letter 'C,' and among their 12 kids, two are twins. They plan to continue this naming tradition with their 13th child. Britney is also quite active on Instagram, sharing photos and videos of her large family, although she faces criticism from some for having so many children.
Becoming a Mother at a Young Age
Britney first became pregnant at the age of 14, but unfortunately, she experienced a miscarriage. She successfully became a mother for the first time at 16 and has since had a child every year. She expressed her desire to have a dozen children to create a complete family, noting that her children often ask for another sibling, saying, 'Mommy, please bring another baby.' She happily fulfills their requests.
The family owns 12 acres of land where they live with their 12 children and 140 animals, including pigs, sheep, dogs, and chickens. The children are homeschooled, but they are considering online classes for their eldest child. With so many kids, they have a significant supply of milk, costing around ₹16,000 monthly. When Britney is busy, her older children help take care of the younger ones.
