Meet the Artist Behind the Tiniest Ganesh Idol This Festive Season!
A Remarkable Miniature Creation
Bhubaneswar: L. Ishwar Rao, a miniature artist hailing from Gopinathpur in Jatni, has unveiled what he believes to be the smallest Ganesh idol for this festive season. This intricate sculpture, meticulously carved on the tip of a pencil, measures a mere 0.5 cm in height and took him approximately eight hours to finish.
In his own words, Rao expressed that his goal extends beyond merely demonstrating his artistic talent; he aims to share the spiritual essence of Lord Ganesha. "Each year, I dedicate my work to Lord Ganesha. This time, I set myself the challenge of crafting the smallest idol imaginable. Through this piece, I wish to convey messages of peace, prosperity, and joy to everyone celebrating Ganesh Puja," he shared.
Rao, who has gained local recognition for his extraordinary miniature art, consistently presents innovative pieces during special occasions. While he has previously sculpted idols on pencil tips, this year's creation is notably the smallest he has ever accomplished.
His latest work has garnered admiration from the community, art enthusiasts, and devotees alike.
