On the significant occasion of Independence Day, members of the Manimahesh Press Club Bharmour gathered at the historic Chaurasi Shiv Temple to pay their respects. Club President Vinod Thakur, along with senior members Mahinder Patyal, O.P. Sharma, and Pyar Sharma, engaged in prayer, seeking Lord Shiva's blessings for peace, prosperity, and the well-being of the region, as well as for the successful completion of the revered Manimahesh Yatra.
The club members conducted traditional rituals within the temple grounds, invoking divine blessings for the happiness and unity of the local community and the many pilgrims who embark on this spiritual journey annually.
The Chaurasi Shiv Temple is an ancient and significant site in Bharmour, especially during the Manimahesh Yatra. Each year, devotees from various parts of India and beyond visit this temple to receive blessings before continuing to the sacred Manimahesh Lake. The temple serves as a focal point of faith and devotion, representing the rich cultural and religious heritage of Himachal Pradesh.
This solemn act by the Press Club strengthens the spiritual connection between Bharmour's historic temples and the pilgrims of Manimahesh.
