Evacuations in Larimer County Amid Wildfire Threat
In northern Colorado, officials have mandated evacuations as firefighters work to control a wildfire near Carter Lake Reservoir in Larimer County. This fire, referred to as the Sedona Hills Fire, is situated just north of the reservoir, as reported by local authorities. The Larimer County Sheriff's Office has issued a compulsory evacuation order for those living in the Sedona Hills vicinity.
The designated evacuation area stretches from West Eisenhower Boulevard, heading south along North County Road 29 towards the reservoir, and extends westward to the Flatiron Reservoir and Chimney Hollow Reservoir.
Residents have been urged to evacuate without delay to prioritize their safety while emergency teams continue their firefighting efforts.
